Sponsor a Reiki Healing Session for a Shelter Animal

Reiki is a Japanese word that means universal energy. A practitioner my utilize this energy in healing sessions for themselves, others, and the planet - always intended for the highest good. Through light touch, a Reiki practitioner channels energy which awakens a client's natural healing instincts. Old patterns and blocks are released so that the client often feels relaxed and refreshed and experiences an ease in symptoms.

Reiki is particularly effective with animals, who are always offering healing to those nearby, simply through their presence. This is an opportunity to support shelter animals while they are waiting to be adopted. Even in the best of shelters, it is very difficult for many of the animals who spend any length of time there. These are often the animals who would make the best pets. They crave human companionship and thrive on affection, play and training.
